Finding the needle in the haystack – a specialist approach
The Enterprise Europe Network encompasses over 60 countries divided into more than 600 regions. Each region covers a great versatility of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) with an even greater variety of needs. To help those SMEs find their right business partner in such an versatile market may seem like looking for a needle in a haystack.
So what do we do to help you at best?
Apart from a dense network of colleagues across all those regions, we meet in specialized groups covering certain industries. So called Sector Groups. Those 17 Sector Groups cover traditional industries such as tourism and textiles & fashion, as well as more contemporary industries such as ICT and sustainable construction.
The members of those Sector Groups organize sector specific brokerage events and company missions, compile catalogues of relevant SMEs and their needs and write publications on European research schemes and other relevant issues, identify SMEs perspective on (proposed) EU legislation and lobby the EU institutions.
Moreover, Sector Group members meet twice a year to discuss latest developments in the sector and the needs of their clients. Additionally, ad-hoc project groups are established to solve pressing issues or improve on certain topics.
Through the activities as mentioned and the exchange of knowledge between Sector Group members, we can provide you with tailored support to help you enter new markets and develop new partnerships. Find out if your specific industry is covered by one of the Sector Groups or contact your EEN Northern Netherlands at email@example.com.
